8/2 The Untamed Youth are getting back together for this years Rockaround Festival in Las Vegas - get the full scoop at: http://www.rockaround.net. The Youth will also be rocking the Blue Note www.thebluenote.com in Columbia, MO on Saturday, September 13. The show marks the band's first appearance in Columbia in 5 years!!!. Opening will be Youth frontman, Deke Dickerson (www.dekedickerson.com) , and his Los Angeles based Ecco-fonics. If you can't make the Youth's big Rockaround www.rockaround.net festival appearance in Las Vegas September 26, then here's your chance to catch its only other show this year! Combo – The Great Caffeine Comedown 10/21/03 Double Crown Music Club Changes The Double Crown Music Club is going to change slightly, due to a policy change with our CD manufacturer. Basically, they are no longer doing runs of 300 CD's - the new minimum is 500 CD's. We have been struggling to get people to join the club, and there's no way we will ever get 400-500 members. What this means is that we will continue the club, but releases will no longer be exclusive to club members - they will be available for individual purchase through the Double Crown website. Current members will receive 4 instro/surf CD's, starting with the Dynotones "Super Six" CD, to be followed by a compilation called "Diggin' For Gold" and two future releases. If you've been a long time Double Crown customer here's what it boils down to - the "new" Double Crown Music Club will operate the same way the "old" Double Crown Music Club operated - you join and you get 4 CD's. You also get 10% off catalog purchases.
