The Reverb Syndicate are a Canadian 4-piece that have a great sci-fi/surf sound and have matched it up with some great songwriting. The original songs here all follow a space theme, with the kinds of melodies that will seem familiar if you've listened to bands like Man Or Astroman?, Jonny & The Shamen or The Nebulas. It's not all 3 minute blasts of rocket-fuel powered intensity - they mix in a little exotica here and there, delivered best on their song "La Balada de Senor Esquivel". This variety guarantees that you'll want to play this one over and over again!
