The Special Agents – Bulletproof Beat (HammondBeat)  This UK-based band delivers a great instrumental rock n’ roll sound that sounds a bit like Huevos Rancheros, Fifty Foot Combo and Man Or Astroman? all mixed together. However, they take sounds they share in common with those bands (and others), and meld them into something rather unique. Their guitars and organ sound is enhanced through the use of interesting samples and sound effects. There is also a strong emphasis on delivering cool, danceable rhythms – all of the hipsters in the late 60’s would definitely be shakin’ n’ quakin’ to songs like these.
