These reverb fiends in Tempe, AZ have included tunes from The Fireballs catalog, plus lots of new surf n' garage rave-ups and re-recorded tracks from their first two 7" records.

Coming from Phoenix, Arizona, this combo plays some nifty instromatic surf and garage rock, full of hollow reverb, trembling twanging tremolo and monophonic vocals. “Play with Fire” sure brings back those old times when instro bands ruled the scene and waiting for the next big wave was the only thing you could care about.

However one sunny day in 1998, drummer Erin decided that he had enough of playing surf tunes & traded his life as musician for a more common lifestyle. This was the end of the Del-Vamps and the only legacy they left behind was 2 albums and a handful tracks on compilation records. The Del-Vamps might be history but they are sure not forgotten. Continental records from Washington released “Play with fire” originally but since then it has been re released on double crown records.
